I'm Anna, a 25-year-old Finnish gothic ghoul. On the Internet I'm commonly known as SpookyLoop.
I have been part of the gothic subculture since I was 14 years old, though I have always had an affinity for the darker things in life. A lover of all things macabre, I find beauty in unconventional places. Cemeteries, skeletons and Victorian mourning fashion are close to my heart as are art, music, history and languages.
I have been lucky enough to travel and see the world: In addition to living in Finland, I have lived in the United States (Washington DC), Germany (Berlin), and London before finding my place in North East England. I am a trained milliner (aka a hatmaker) and I have just finished my first year of studying costume design in an English university.
On this blog I will share my thoughts and knowledge on the subculture, tips on music, films and clothing, and answer the most frequently asked questions I get on Tumblr.

Olen Anna, 25-vuotias suomalainen goottityttö. Internetissä minut tunnetaan yleensä nimellä SpookyLoop. Olen kasvanut Helsingissä suuriman osan elämääni, mutta Suomen lisäksi olen kiertänyt maailmaa ja asunut Washington DC:ssä, Berliinissä ja Lontoossa. Olen koulutukseltani modisti (hatuntekijä) ja tällä hetkellä opiskelen puvustustulkintaa ja -suunnittelua yliopistotasolla koillis-Englannissa.
Goottimaailmaan sukelluin syvemmin noin 14-vuotiaana, vaikka synkemmät aiheet ovatkin kiinnostaneet aina. Makaaberit asiat ovat lähellä sydäntäni ja tapaan nähdä kauneutta epätavanomaisissa paikoissa. Varsinkin hautausmaat, luurangot ja viktoriaaninen surumuoti ovat lähellä sydäntäni, kuten ovat myös taide, musiikki, historia ja kielet.
